About Us

OUR MISSION

The mission of ReeceLaw is to provide quality representation at reasonable fees to clients charged with crimes or needing any facet of representation in immigration law.

Our Business

At ReeceLaw, we take our clients' representation seriously.  We endeavor to give our clients the same care and consideration that we would want for our own families if they were in the same situation.

In criminal cases, we do this by taking the time to carefully review the evidence against our clients, conduct our own fact investigation, interview witnesses, research issues that may give us the best possible result, zealously prepare for trial, and fight like hell for our clients in and out of the courtroom.  We are always available to answer questions from our clients or their families; because we know that, while it's not our first time in the criminal justice system, it is often our clients' and their families' first time.

In immigration cases, we will assist our clients with filling out paperwork and gathering documentation, and we will advise clients, both individuals and businesses, during every step of the various aspects of immigration law, whether the client wants to get a visa, obtain a green card, become a citizen, bring family or a fiancee to the U.S., or bring citizens of other countries to the U.S. for business purposes.

Who We Are

Debra J. Reece is the owner and founder of ReeceLaw.  She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and then graduated first in her class from the UALR Bowen School of Law, where she gained a reputation for quality work and a compassionate spirit.

That reputation continued as she clerked with Justice Annabelle Clinton Imber at the Arkansas Supreme Court for two years, and then taught first-year law students as a visiting professor for a year at the Bowen School of Law, where she continues to teach legal reasoning, brief writing, and appellate advocacy as an adjunct professor.

Ms. Reece opened her law firm in 2005, spent some time as in-house counsel with a Fortune 550 company, and then returned to private practice for her first love -- representing clients in criminal court.  She has since expanded into the field of immigration law as well, keeping her practice focused on those two areas to give her clients the quality representation they deserve.

Ms. Reece's legal assistant, John Knotts, shares her passion for criminal law and her compassion for our clients.  In addition to his work for ReeceLaw, Mr. Knotts is currently studying pre-med with the intention of eventually receiving joint M.D. and J.D. degrees.
